Previous editions of the National Investment Competition (NIC), known as Landelijke Beleggingscompetitie (LBC), were very successful with several hundreds of participants! This year we are once again organizing the NIC.
The aim of the competition is to make the highest possible return with a fictive amount of 100,000 euros. In the competition you can both buy/sell shares and options in order to make a return with your portfolio. It is also possible to keep a portion of your money liquid, so in hard times you’ll receive interest. The website includes up-to-date rankings and with these you can compare your results with the results of the other participants.
The competition takes six weeks, the first week is a test week and the following five weeks it is time for the real competition. The best investors will be rewarded with weekly prizes. There is also an overall ranking to determine the final winner. We emphasize that participation is only intended for students. It is therefore possible that your registration before or during the competition will be removed if you do not meet the requirement. In any case, you can’t claim one of the many prizes.
